Sunny Day in Charm City

On Sunday we went to the Inner Harbor to enjoy the sun and this city of ours. We brought Elle onto the USS Constellation- this is the ship that she had to keep checking out on Thursday night when we were down town, so we thought she would enjoy it. And she did, I'm not so sure the boat felt the same way about her though. She ran from one end of that thing to the other, ringing the bell, turning the wheel, climbing in and out of the tiny little rooms inside the cabin, shaking the beds in the sleeping quarters, which by the way, no one is supposed to touch.
It was a pretty cool tour though, I love old stuff, even 150 year old navy ships. Wade and his dad went on the submarine that sits in the harbor, I did not because they freak me out. So I toured the "light boat" that is next to the sub. Elle was sleeping in the stroller so Kay stayed with her. I can't really tell you much about the history of the boat I went on alone because I wasn't really paying attention. I was just enjoying having twenty minutes to myself without chasing my little Flash Gordon around.
Ahhh, the little things in life.
