The Plan

This morning when we were getting Ellie dressed, she was jumping on the bed as I was trying to pull her dress over her head, and she said I don't want to get dressed, I want to watch TV. To which I said, "Don't worry when me and you get to stay home and hang out, we can watch Blues Clues together. And then I looked at Wade across the room and he laughed and said "Yea, right."
See, this is why I made sure to double check so we were both perfectly clear on Friday that he agreed that I should stay home with Elle.

So to me, its not a matter of if this is happening, but when..hehe. I think I might need to lie low for a while, come up with a really good plan and come back to him in a few months. That way, if I have a solid plan, there's no way he can say no.

Now I realize there are a few necessities I am going to need before I start my new fabulous domestic life. So I am probably going to have to keep my job for a little while longer.
Here's what's on the list so far...
bike with a kid seat and basket (preferably big enough to fit Magoo)
pool membership (already mentioned and a definite must have)
new computer- since now I use my work laptop all the time, I am going to have to get a new computer for our house so I can continue to blog and email and shop online...oh wait, no, that's part of the deal...scratch that- just blog and email
library membership- free stuff to do is going to be key to making this all work so what better place to find free stuff than at the public library
lots of cool supplies for arts and crafts time- I plan on having this be a big part of our days and I figure if I start collecting stuff now, then we will be all set
free stuff to do in our community- Cromwell Valley Park is right near us, its a huge park with all kinds of walking trails and they even have some classes for kids, Walters Art Gallery is also close by and free, we could go there every week and check out the cool art exhibits (although she might need to be a little older before she goes to a museum- the USS Constellation may never be the same after our visit yesterday), see I am already onto some good stuff here.
potty train the little one- last but not least, this will save us money on diapers and if she is in day care while she is potty training, then I only have to worry about it two days a week...haha

I am envisioning us doing so much cool stuff, me and my little pal. And won't it make life better for Wade too? I mean if I am home all day, no more complaining about being crunched for time and stressed about work, I can do the laundry and cleaning stuff during the week with my little helper, that way we can have fun on the weekends. I have it all planned out, the only thing left to do is figure out how I am going to make up for the lack of income, but I'm not giving up hope yet!
