Some good stuff

Today I am actually getting some things accomplished at work, which is good. But even more importantly some nice stuff is going on in my office today. Not my office as a whole, but my teeny tiny office.

Someone came by earlier and asked me my opinion on his belt.
Him: "What do you think of my belt? Too much?"
Me: "I like it, too much how?"
Him: "I usually wear it with jeans, but I thought I would try it with work clothes, is it too bright?"
Me: "No, its cool, I like it."
Him: "See all the fashionable people like it"
Me: "Wow, first of all I am flattered to be called "fashionable" by you and second, I think the belt looks good."
Him: "Well, at least you don't walk around here in a woman suit looking like Hillary at a funeral."
Me: Laughing as he walks away. But now sitting here wondering if that means I am actually fashionable or that I just don't dress like a 50 year old...hmmmm.

Someone sent me pictures of her sweet little daughter's first birthday celebration and this baby is too stinkin cute.

Someone else sent me pictures of herself in her wedding dress and veil that she will be wearing in her upcoming Summer wedding.

Jenny called me to say that the package Elle and I sent to the kids arrived and both Maeve and Luke got on the phone and said "Hi Momo. Thank you. Where's Ellie Bell?"

Wade drove Elle and I out here this morning and he met Mimi for the first time. We were standing there talking to Mimi and Elle looks up at us and says "Bye Guys" and practically pushes us out the door. And even better, he is coming to pick me up a little early. (which totally makes up for the fact that he dropped me off early and would not stop at Dunkin Donuts for me to get a drink).

And we are just hours away from a three day weekend...hooray!!!
