I finally made a decision on how I wanted to decorate the house for Ellie's 2nd birthday. No party this year, but there's no reason why we can't get the house all festive for us to enjoy.
Saturday afternoon all 3 of us were doing our thing, Elle was in the basement watching some tv, I was in the living room putting up some of the decorations I made and Wade was in our bedroom spackling the walls.
When she came upstairs and saw the decorations, I told her they were for her birthday and she kept looking around saying "Happy Birthday Ellie...yes!" and jumping up and down. I think that means she likes them. I can't wait for her birthday, I wish we were having a party but I guess we will just have to have an even bigger party for her 3rd birthday to make up for it.
