Saturday was beautiful so Elle got to spend some time playing outside. She threw the ball to Houston, walked (and fell) on the frozen lake behind Amy's parent's house and we went to the playground.
Then Saturday afternoon was Grandma's party. If you met her, no way would you think she was 90. She is amazing! We had a lot of fun at the party. Elle got to run around with the girls...hide and seek, playing in the sink in the bathroom, drinking from the water fountain. Pretty cool stuff when you are 2. She even got her first sip of red wine. We were sitting at a table and she comes walking over to Wade and I and she had this horrible look on her face and she was wiping her tongue and spitting. Then we found out she had taken a sip of wine and she was freaking out because of the taste. Hates the booze just like her momma.
Cake is a different story...she was the first kid to stick her finger in the cake and that was only the beginning. By the time she was done, 4 cupcakes had her finger prints on them too, so she had to eat 2 of them, Wade ate one and I ate one. Good job Elle- just like we rehearsed it. (Just kidding)
