The other day I got this picture emailed to me from Wade. No, this is not my sweet Bud Bud. It is his Bizarro. Can you believe it? This dog looks almost exactly like Magoo. So I called Wade and as I am on the phone with him, I realize that I recognize the yard that this picture was taken in. It is in my neighborhood.
So not only have we found Magoo's doppelganger, but he lives around the corner from us. Amazing!
This little pup's name is Pepper and he is up for adoption on Petfinder.com.
I wonder if he is from the same place we got Magoo? Maybe Freckles and Cricket are his parents too- those are Magoo's biological parent's names. Pepper had a bum wheel and he used to take walks around the neighborhood with a little walker with wheels attached to his hind legs. Hilarious, sad and cute all at the same time!
So in my amazement, I email the sisters and my brother this picture and tell them the story.
Mick emails back and says "Does that person have "shingles" ?" and Jenny emails back and says "I don't know what's funnier--- the fact that the dog has a walker or that it goes for walks with a broken leg while poor magoo (with no broken bones) watches from inside" (ok, that is kind of sad for Magoo)
Totally missing the point!
We considered for about a minute finding out more about Pepper, but then we realized its way better with just Magoo.
