Pancakes

Have you ever been doing something so boring and ordinary and then all of the sudden you realize how great your life is?
Yesterday morning I was vacuuming and when I got to the kitchen doorway I saw Wade and Elizabeth standing at the counter making us pancakes for breakfast. They didn't know I was there because the vacuum was so loud, so I stood there watching them for a second. He was letting her hold the electric beater to mix the batter and she was having the best time. I realized what a cool family I have.
I guess we get to have little moments like these every once in a while to make all the other crazy stuff worth it.
