McNugget McMemory

This is a post for Erin.
See she and I remember when the McNuggets first came on the scene at McDonalds. And we both had a distinct memory of them having some Asian flair attached to the marketing. Well, thanks to Wikipedia...here you go buddy. A history lesson on the McNugget. And we definitely have good memories because they were first introduced in 1983 so we were 8!!!

McNuggets Shanghai were a sales gimmick used by the McDonald's Corporation in 1986. They were accompanied by a pair of chopsticks, a fortune cookie and a choice of sweet and sour, teriyaki, or hot mustard sauce. McNuggets Shanghai were discontinued after only a few months, due to campaign failure.

Also a good old school sauce that was offered a few years ago was the Sugar Plum sauce, a marketing ploy at Christmas time. Man I would slay a dragon to get my hands on some of that sauce...it was delicious!
