A Fire Hat & A Flip

Last week Elle went on a field trip with daycare to the Hampstead Fire House. While they were there, they learned about the protective suits worn by the fire fighters, they learned about fire safety, and got to check out the fire truck. Kim showed me some pictures from the day- all the kids are sitting around in a group and the adults are sitting in a line of chairs behind them. But if you look very closely, at the seat on the end, you can see a little brown butt up in the air, then in the next picture, a very nice mom is holding on tightly to the back of the chair that the little kid is climbing up on. And guess who's face you can see sitting in that chair in the third picture...yup, that's right, our sweet little daughter.
Kim was laughing when she was telling me about the day. She said Elle was climbing all over the fire truck, even on the tires. She loved it and she even got a red fire hat from the trip. Pretty cool.
On Friday night, Wade and I were sitting in the basement watching some kid show that was on for her, except she walked upstairs to get something. All of the sudden we hear her at the top of the stairs and then see a little foot flip in the air and she lands at the bottom of the steps. Guess that's what happens when you run everywhere. I swear, she doesn't even get bumps on her head anymore.
